Bose CSP-428 Commercial Sound Processor
Bose CSP-428 Commercial Sound Processor
Intuitive Setup Process
Bose Professional Commercial Sound Processors (CSP) are integral to a complete sound system that includes loudspeakers, amplifiers, controls, and software, allowing installers to deploy premium sound systems efficiently. They feature an onboard CSP configuration utility and an intuitive browser-based user interface, streamlining the setup process. Real-time displays of levels, routing, thresholds, and priorities eliminate guesswork, allowing for faster system configuration, reduced installation time, and improved setup accuracy.
Optimized Connectivity
Bose Professional CSPs provide the ideal balance of inputs and outputs to meet diverse installation needs. They offer balanced analog I/O, mono-summed RCA inputs, control inputs and outputs, and a mute contact. Additionally, an AmpLink output facilitates simple digital audio connections to compatible amplifiers, minimizing termination and potential failure points. The rear-panel Ethernet port enables configuration via Mac or PC and connects to optional ControlCenter digital zone controllers and the ControlSpace Remote app.
Up to Five Listening Areas (Discrete Zones)
Bose Professional CSPs allow for the creation of up to five discrete zones, known as Listening Areas. Each Listening Area can be managed through optional wall-mounted ControlCenter digital zone controllers or via the ControlSpace Remote app. These controllers enable sound level adjustments, and select ControlCenter models also offer source selection capabilities. Furthermore, the CSP includes more than five outputs, enabling multiple outputs per Listening Area to be controlled by a single assigned controller.
User-Friendly Operation
Bose Professional CSPs are designed for ease of use post-installation. Proprietary algorithms ensure predictable performance across various scenarios. Features such as Opti-source level management maintain consistent volume across multiple sources. SmartBass processing enhances audio performance at any volume level. Opti-voice paging ensures smooth transitions between music and announcements. Together with the Bose AVM-1 sense microphone, the AutoVolume feature adjusts output based on ambient noise, ensuring optimal sound in active environments.
