follow the Steps provided on the pages below to install your e-mail POP3 user access settings . .
- if you print the appropriate page it may be easier to follow :-)
To set up any mail programme you need to know the following:
  • the name you want to appear when someone receives mail from you
[we have used John Doe here]
  • your " username "
[that's the one before the @ symbol]
  • your " password "
[as supplied by your mail service provider: ******* here]
  • your " domain name " for your mail account
[that's the bits after the @ symbol]
  • the " POP3 " server = Incoming mail
    [we have used mail.webstation.net here]
sometimes these are also ' pop.serverdomain.com.au ' etc
  • the " SMTP " server = outgoing mail
[this must generally be the SMTP server of your Dial in ISP
generally is mail.yourISPdomain.com.au or something like it]
if you have problems with this
  - we can generally help over the phone while you are in front of your computer
  - you do not have to be connected to the 'net while the settings are entered - of course to test it's required :-)
